1. Prep Your Skin (The Glow Starts Here)
Exfoliate: The day before tanning, gently exfoliate your entire body (focus on knees, elbows, ankles, and heels). This removes dead skin and ensures an even application
Shave/Wax: Do this at least 24 hours before tanning so your pores have time to close.
Hydrate dry spots: On the day of tanning, apply a light, oil-free moisturiser to dry areas (elbows, knees, hands, feet, and ankles) so they don’t grab too much colour
Clean canvas: Make sure your skin is completely clean and product-free. No deodorant, roll-on, perfume, body oils, lotions, or makeup — they can cause streaking or green patches.

2. Application (Your Glow Moment 🌟)
Tools: Use a tanning mitt or brush for streak-free results (never bare hands!).
Amount: Pump enough mousse onto your mitt — don’t be shy, you need enough product to glide smoothly.
Blend: Apply in circular motions, working section by section. Start from the legs upwards to avoid creases when bending.
Check angles: Always check in good lighting and mirror all sides (especially back of legs, underarms, behind knees, wrists, and ankles).
Hands & feet tip: Use leftover product from your mitt (don’t add extra!) and blend lightly to avoid over-tanning these tricky areas.
Face: Use sparingly or a product designed for the face; blend into hairline and jawline.

3. Processing & Rinse (The Trust-the-Process Stage 💦)
Drying: Allow your tan to dry for a few minutes before getting dressed. Wear loose, dark clothing.
Processing time: Let your tan develop according to product instructions (usually 1–4 hours). Avoid sweating, exercising, or getting wet during this time.
Rinse: When it’s time to shower, use warm water only — no soap, no body wash, no scrubs. It might look like your colour is washing away, but trust the process — the tan continues to develop for the next few hours.
Pat dry: Gently pat with a towel (don’t rub!)

4. Aftercare (Make It Last 💕)
Moisturise daily: Use an oil-free, nourishing lotion to keep skin hydrated. This helps your tan fade evenly.
Avoid oil-based products: Oils can break down your tan and cause patchiness. Stick to water-based or cream moisturisers.
Extend your glow: Use a gradual tanning lotion every few days to top up colour.
Exfoliate gently after a few days: Once your tan starts to fade, lightly exfoliate to avoid patchiness and prep for your next glow.
Swimming & baths: Chlorine and long soaks can strip your tan faster — quick dips and showers are best
